- Take 2-3 whloe Pomfret cleaned and put some cuts in both sides
- Make ready 1 tsp turmeric powder
- Prepare 1 tsp coriander seeds

- Take 2-3 red dry chillies
- Take 1 tbsp vinegar

You can also dip bread in this curry. Clean the pomfrets and dice them as per you desire. I have sliced them into medium pieces. Ingredients used in STUFFED POMFRET FRY (GOAN STYLE). bring the pomfret fish ,remove the head,tail and clean the inside part properly,till the fish looks white and clean. then make a big slit in the middle to divide it ,to form a cavity to fill the masala.then salt the fish and keep asside. now take the. mushroom fry (goan style).
Steps to make Goan Style Pomfret Gravy:
- Take the pomfret fish and season it with salt and turmeric powder. Spread it on all the pieces and keep aside.
- Dry roast dried red chillies, cinnamon, cloves, coriander seeds & cumin seeds on a pan for 2-3 mins.
- Add all the roasted spices in a mixer and then add coconut, vinegar & water and grind it into a fine paste.
- In a pan, add oil & onions and fry till onions become golden brown in colour
- Then add the ground paste and fry it for a few seconds and then add water and cook it some more.
- Add the fish into the gravy and mix well and let the gravy simmer for sometime. Cook the fish for 4-5 mins.
- Next add the tamarind pulp & green chillies and let it simmer for about a minute. - Serve with some rice and enjoy😋😊
