  2. Prepare 2 tbsp Green chilli garlic paste

Outer layer has wheat flour and you can stuff them with a combination of different veggies or dal, serve them with curd, pickle and papad - and aha…a full lunch set. This recipe has a stuffing of yellow moong dal in it. The stuffing gets ready very quickly. For today's paratha, I have used whole moong dal/ whole green gram for the stuffing, the parathas are both filling and delicious and of course very healthy too.

Instructions to make Stuffed Whole moong paratha:
  1. Cook moong in cooker by adding water to the level of moong for 3 whistles. Add 1 tbsp oil to kadhai and add chilli garlic paste to it. Stir it for a minute and then add turmeric powder,salt and cooked whole moong to it. Stir it well. If u feel moong r less cooked, add little bit water and cover the lid for 2 to 3 minutes.
  2. Take wheat flour and add salt, oil and knead the dough. Dough should be like chapati dough.
  3. Now take one ball of dough and roll roti of it. Cut it from centre and keep the stuffing as shown in picture and cover it
  4. Roll paratha and roast it by putting ghee on pan from both the sides.
  5. Serve paratha with curd, spicy peanut garlic chutney and sweet and tangy lemon pickle.

Just serve them with some pickle and vegetable raitha for a complete meal. Need To Have For The Dough. Moong Daal Paratha- We Indian love Stuffed parathas specially during winters. Stuffed parathas are mainly made with grated or boiled and mashed vegetables. But this Moong daal paratha is also taste delicious and very healthy too.
