- Boil 1 cup of water and pour slowly to the top vessel covering almost full.
- Cover it with the lid and let it rest for 15mins without disturbing it.
- After 15 mins, decoction would have collected at the bottom of the vessel.
- Pour 1/4 cup of the decoction in a small glass ; adjust the quantity of the decoction based on how strong you prefer.
- Add 1tsp of sugar or adjust your sweetness.
- Also pour half cup boiling milk,adjust the quantity of milk based on how strong you prefer.
- Mix to dissolve sugar with the help of davarah or dabarah (small steel katori) for authentic feel.
- You can also use another glass.
- Mix 2 times to get the frothy filter coffee.
- Do not over mix as coffee cools down faster.
- Finally serve South Indian Filter Coffee immediately - Traditional way.
