  2. Make ready 1/2 cup date jaggery
  3. Take 100 gm fragrant rice (Bengalies are made payesh Spl rice called Gobindobhog)
  4. Prepare 2 tablespoons chopped almond
  5. Take 1 teaspoon cardamom powder
Steps to make Nolen gurer payesh:
  1. Boil milk in a heavy bottom pan. Once milk start boiling simmer for few minutes add the rice.
  2. When the rice is almost done, stir constantly.
  3. Now add the jaggery and mix well. Stir constantly and simmer the milk for another 5 minutes.
  4. Now add the cardamom powder and mix well.
  5. Switch off the flame and allow it to come to room temperature.
  6. Transfer to serving bowls and garnish with your own choice and enjoyyyyyyyyy ☺️
