  2. Get 3 cups Water -
  3. Prepare 3 tbsp Oil -

  11. Take 2 tsp Red chilli flakes -
  12. Get 2 tsp Pepper powder -
  13. Take 1 tsp Oregano -
  14. Make ready 1 tsp Garlic powder -
  15. Take Salt - as required
  16. Make ready Coriander leaves - few for garnishing

Add little salt and little oil along with water. When the water starts boiling, add the pasta and cook al dente. Drain excess water and run the pasta through cold water and keep aside. Masala Pasta, an Indian version of Italian Pasta packed veggies along with Indian Spices.

Instructions to make South Indian style Pasta:
  1. In a pressure cooker add the pasta with enough water, salt and few drops of oil and give 3 whistles.
  2. Once the pressure is released remove the cooker and drain the excess water from the cooked pasta.
  3. Now in a wide pan, add oil when hot add onions, when they become translucent add ginger garlic paste and mix until the raw smell goes away.
  4. Meanwhile grind the tomato and add the paste to the mixture. Add all other spices and keep mixing till the oil starts to ooze out of the mixture.
  5. Now add the chopped vegetables to it and mix well. Once the vegetables are cooked well add the cooked pasta to it… keep mixing in which the pasta is getting coated well with the masala.
  6. Finally add the chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
  7. Yummy and tasty Indian style pasta is ready to eat. Enjoy it for breakfast or dinner.
  8. You can add vegetables of your choice and try different taste too. (I also added some paneer pieces fried in butter)
