Koasambari salad is usually made with lentils. two lentils which are commonly used are moong lentils and bengal gram (chana dal). Kosambari is basically a very traditional South Indian style salad made from choice of fresh veggie with some soaked moong dal/ chana dal / sprouts etc.

- Soak moong dal for half an hour to one hour and drain off the excess water in a strainer.
- In a mixing bowl add strained moong daal, chopped cucumber, chopped chilli and chopped carrot. Mix well together.

- Salad is ready. Keep it in a refrigerator for 2 hours. Then serve it and garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
