  1. Wash all the dals properly. Pressure cook them in a cooker with 3 whistles and simmer for 5minutes.
  2. Crush onions, green chillies, garlic cloves and ginger in a mixture.
  3. Heat oil in a pan. Add green chilli pieces, cumin seeds, mustard seeds and fenugreek seeds to it
  4. After the mustard seeds crackles add the onion paste to it and cook it properly.
  5. Meanwhile crush the tomatoes and make it's puree.
  6. Add the puree to the pan. Mix well and cook until oil separates from the gravy.
  7. Now add all the dry spices to the gravy. Mix well everything.
  8. Now add the boiled dals to the pan. Mix well and cook for about 5-7 minutes on low flame.
  9. Add lemon juice and coriander leaves to it.
  10. Garnish with chopped spring onions and serve.
