- First take rice 1/2 cup and tubar dal 1/2 cup and pressure cook by adding 3 cups of water and let it whistle atleast 5 to 6 it should cooked well like khichdi.Next chopped all the veggies onion,drumstick and keep ready.Next take tamarind and add water to it and soak for 15 to 20 minutes
- Next heat a pan add oil and add chopped onion,hing and curry leaves saute till onion gets soft and then add chopped tomatoes till it becomes soft and then add all the veggies along with turmeric.
- Stir fry all veggies for 10 minutes and then add 2 cups of water and salt adjust here as per taste and cover the lid and let it shimmer for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Next when rice is cook fully smash little with spatula.Next add soaked tamarind pulp by removing the waste to the veggies and then add sambhar masala and let it shimmer another 10 minutes let raw smell goes off and add this prepared sambhar to the rice mix well everything nicely
- Let's give tempering to the prepared sambhar rice take oil and add mustard seeds when it's start spluttering add curry leaves dried red chillies and hing and add this tempering to rice.Serve hot sambhar rice goes well for lunch or dinner. Super taste.
