The ingredients needed to make Choshi payesh(kheer):
  1. Prepare 1 cup rice flour
  2. Take 2 tbsp bombay rava
  3. Take 1 litter milk
  4. Prepare 1/4 cup sugar
  5. Take 1 cup khejur gud(made out palm necter)
  6. Get 1/4 cup chopped pista
  7. Get 2 bay leaves
  8. Make ready 1 tbsp ghee
Instructions to make Choshi payesh(kheer):
  1. Mix bombay with rice flour and sieve the mixture.
  2. Add hot water to flour and make a dough.
  3. It must be hard dough.
  4. Make choshi by using hand.
  5. Little dry the choshi. Heat ghee and lite fry the choshi.
  6. Boil the milk and reduce to 750ml
  7. Add fried choshi in the boiled milk.cook for five minutes.
  8. Add(lite) burnt bay leaves and sugar. Stir very carefully.
  9. Add khejur gud and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  10. Keep aside for cool. Can be eat hot, but we like to have it cool.
  11. Sprinkle chopped pista and serve choshi payesh or kheer
