Drop it, and add herbs, onion or seeds instead. Make garlic compound butter: In a small bowl, mix softened butter with garlic, salt, and parsley until well combined.

  1. In a bowl add the flour, coriander, salt and nigella seeds and mix
  2. Add the yoghurt and mix with a fork until it forms a sticky dough
  3. On a floured surface, lightly knead the dough (it will still remain quite a sticky mixture so knead with care).
  4. Transfer the dough in to a bowl and pinch off a golf ball sized, on a bed of atta start patting it down until it is the desired oval shape of your preference
  5. On a pre-heated griddle pan/frying pan (medium heat), spray the garlic oil to coat the pan and add two naans. After 30 seconds flip, wait 30 seconds more and spray with garlic oil spray, turn over again and repeat once or twice more, until it starts puffing up slightly and is cooked (cook time per naan 2-3 minutes)
  6. Transfer the naans to a plate lined with kitchen towel and cover with foil until you have made approx 10. For more flavour you can always add some melted ghee, garlic and coriander on top, but we aim to stay healthy.
  7. You can always make these plain by using unflavoured oil or flavour them with different spices!

This is a great, easy and quick recipe, i would say definitely use olive oil with garlic to coat with the breadcrumbs, it's much easier and adds it own unique taste. One tip i would give is - Sear the meat in a heavy based pan to seal the breadcrumbs and then transfer the pan to the oven. Place potatoes and garlic into a large saucepan full of cold water. Check potatoes for doneness by poking a few wedges with a fork or skewer–if still firm, cook another minute or two and check again. Add chicken and sprinkle with garlic powder, seasoning salt and onion powder.
