Directions for making the Potato Porridge Put the cubes of potatoes into a pot. Bring to the boil over a high heat. Peel and cube several potatoes (zemiaky). While they are cooking, chop one small onion (cibuľa) and few strips of bacon (slanina). Once the potatoes get soft, strain most of the liquid out into a cup.

  1. I first wash the with lemon and kept it aside then peel the potatoes and cut into half and Wash
  2. In a pot add oil then add sliced onions and ginger paste saute then add the grounded scotch bonnet add water that can boil the potatoes add in the Maggi close and allow to boil then add the potatoes and allow to boil then open it and add the catfish then add the thyme and curry then close and allow to cook until soft then turn off the heat and serve

Add flour and mash everything together. Stir cover and cook on high heat till the water surrounding the potatoes starts to thicken (form a porridge). When the potato is well cooked, add the fish back in the pot, stir gently and turn off the heat. Serve with the slices of spinach leaves or garden egg leaves.
