The ingredients needed to make Suji Halwa:
  1. Prepare 1 cup Semolina
  2. Take 1/2-3/4 cup Sugar
  3. Take 3/4 cup Ghee
  4. Get 1 tbsp crushed Cardamom
  5. Get 3 cups water or (2 cups of milk and 1 cup of water)
  6. Take 1/2 cup chopped Dry fruits
  7. Make ready Pinch salt
Instructions to make Suji Halwa:
  1. Heat up a pan, add ½tsp of ghee and dry fruits and roast them for a minute or till dry fruits changes its colour.
  2. Now to the same pan add in semolina and roast on low flame for 5 minutes adding in ghee gradually, roast the semolina till it turns golden in colour and nice aroma. On the other side put milk to boil.
  3. Now add sugar to semolina, dry fruits, cardamom powder and mix it. Lastly add boiling milk to the mixture, and let it boil on low flame till milk is absorbed.
  4. Garnish and serve hot.
