Once the salt has dissolved, leave to cool to fridge temperature. Meanwhile, heat an ovenproof frying pan or shallow casserole on a high heat. Season the potato and onion wedges with the paprika, garlic powder and a little salt, then add them to the pan on either side of the lamb.
