- Homemade khoya is ready.
- For halwa wash and peel carrots.
- Grate them in manual grater or food processor.
- Boil grated carrots with milk for 10 minutes.
- Then cook on high flame till milk evaporate.
- Add sugar and ghee.
- Mix well and stir.
- Stir continuously to avoid burnt and cook on medium flame till ghee starts separate.
- Add homemade khoya and dry fruits and mix well.
- Cook for 5 minutes more and switch off the flame.
- For pancakes take all purpose flour in a big mixing bowl.
- Add baking powder and mix well with spoon.
- Grind 1 chopped carrot and sugar together.
- Add this in flour.
- Add lukewarm milk and vanilla essence.
- Mix well and make a semi thick batter.
- Heat butter in pancake pan.
- Pour batter in pan and cook from both sides.
- Remove from heat and keep aside
- Place pancake in serving dish.
- Spread some carrot halwa on it.
- Place another pancake on it.
- With help of your favourite shape cookie cutter spread sime halwa on top of pancakes.
