I can have them as a meal too. So for the third day I have got these Dhoklas where I have added grated carrot and baby. Take the beasn in a bowl. Add turmeric powder, lime juice, ginger and chilli paste, asafeotida, sugar and salt.

  1. Mix rice flour & Urad daal powder, salt & soda together make a paste. Divide equally into two bowls.
  2. Grate carrot and make a paste. Mix it with half batter.
  3. Greased the bowls with ghee. At first, pour the plain batter then poured egg at the end covered it with carrot better.
  4. Cooked for 20-25 minutes into steamer & served with coconut coriander chutney.

Add in the flour and a pinch of salt into a large bowl. Add a little water at a time and knead to make a firm yet smooth dough. Khaman dhokla is a steamed savoury cake. It is a traditional Gujarati snack usually served as a snack or also as a served in a meal. Traditionally dhoklas are made with channa dhal soaked, ground with few spices and then fermented and steamed.
